Highlighted Features
Student List
View all active students right from the dashboard along with their current score. This allows you view everyone quickly within just a few seconds or search via first or last name for a single student among many. Selecting a student takes you into their Student details where you can quickly view their account details, overall score and their breakdown via the CIB parameters.
Student Score Card
The student score card shows their current progress as an average and, more importantly, broken down into the TDLR CIB categories. The Initial Evaluation is a simulated state board exam that shows ES where the students current knowledge stands and creates their starting point. As the student progresses, the scores, except the Initial Evaluation, will change according to students knowledge. Selecting the Initial Evaluation will show the score and how the the student proformed. Selecting the Exam Categories will show the students proficiency in the subjects within that category.
Subject Scores
Selecting an Exam Category will show you the student's core knowledge of the contained subjects. This will also allow you to see all the exams and quizes that the student took that had question regarding this subject to see how they are progressing.
Topic Scores
Following along in the CIB, some subjects have topics. If so, that subject can be viewed like a category to reveal the associated topics. Like previous, this illistrates the student's comprehension of the given topic.
Exam Result Details
One of the most powerful features is the ability review any exam the student has taken and see where they need help. You are also able to see how long they spent taking the exam and if they completed it or skipped questions along the way that remained unanswered. This allows you to review the students performance during an exam and see if they are taking advantage of Emerald Shears or not.
Screentime Report
The screentime report allows you to review how much time a student is spending inside the accredited features of Emerald Shears within a chosen time frame. This displays not only the typical method of reading time (hours, minutes, seconds), but also the decimal hour value that TDLR expects when reporting distance learing time credits. This report can be exported to a PDF file and we suggest that you print this for your records.

Cost is based on a per student license and account for each chosen plan. Accounts can not be shared between students.
Schools are automatically given a discount on all license purchases. Discounts are based on a tiered purchase model for each plan type. Invoices must be paid in full before licenses are issued.
The Cost Planner gives you the real, exact cost with discounts included. The "Purchase Total" you calculate will be the invoice cost, no extra fees or setup costs. Schools are tax exempt with the appropriate documentation.
